15 Infrasound reduces Inflammation in the Hocks and Muscles of Horses

This study presents the first two of four equine studies conducted by Ronald Riegel DVM for CHI Institute.   The first presents the Infrared thermography studies showing a rapid decrease in inflammation in the hocks of 10 Standardbred horses with one hock treated with an Infrasound device (Infratonic Chaos Unit) from CHI Institute. The second presents a the results of blood work showing that the diagnostic enzymes CPK and AST decreased dramatically for the group of 10 standardbred horses while the results in those in the control group increased significantly over a five week period until 4 horses in the control group started missing training because of lameness. The horses in the treated group were also running four lengths faster after 5 weeks of Infrasound therapy.
