CHI Palm Infratonic 11

From Beijing to Today: The 30-Year Evolution of CHI Palm Technology

The Beginning of a Breakthrough

Three decades ago, we at CHI Institute led groups of doctors, scientists, and therapists to Beijing China to study the science and practice of medical Qigong. At that time the Infratonic QGM (Qigong Machine) had just entered the market. The CHI Palm is the latest version of this technology. To test the validity of the initial studies of sound emission from the hands of healers, we took 38 doctors and therapists on a research journey to the National Institute of TV and Electro-Acoustics, a National Standards Lab in Beijing.

Each of our participants entered their huge anechoic chamber to have the strength of the infrasonic signals from their hand. The instruction was “Imagine a patient needing healing is in front of you and send healing energy from your hand to them (into the microphone)”. The strength and frequency of the measured signal was recorded. Then we embarked on a 10 day medical qigong training at a military paralysis hospital specializing in Qigong. After completion of training, we returned to the National Standards Lab and were tested again. We discovered that the power of the Infrasonic sound from the hands of our group went up by a factor of FIVE!!!

I have attached the CHI Newsletter from 1998 so you can read more about this trip and the surrounding research. Keep in mind that, as we progressively improved the design, we also changed the name of the device from “Qigong Machine” to “Infratonic” to “CHI Palm”. The research and application guide on page 4 remain applicable to today’s CHI Palm.

Thirty years ago, CHI Institute led a groundbreaking research journey to Beijing to measure the science of healing energy—what they discovered changed everything.

The Science Behind the CHI Palm

The Science Behind Infrasonic Healing (Then vs. Now)

Infrasonic healing is rooted in measurable science—where low-frequency sound waves interact with the body to support relaxation, circulation, and recovery. Decades of research reveal how these subtle vibrations may play a powerful role in healing.
