In the book Power vs. Force, we see that there is a spectrum of levels of consciousness. At the levels of Force, our energies are used destructively, against others, against ourselves, and against brick walls. As we move up the spectrum of human consciousness above “courage” we start applying our energies toward constructive purposes within ourselves and toward our communities. This is the Power described above, the power to create rather than the forces of destruction.
The progress of humanity is not measured in overcoming scarcity toward more toilet paper and bigger TVs. Rather, it is measured in our progression from fear, shame, depression and isolation toward love, peace, creativity, and union with Nature, Source or God. As we uplift our levels of consciousness, we convert fear to love in so many ways.
