The Science of Healing: Therapeutic Infrasound is Evidence-Based
The first Therapeutic Infrasound device was built in 1985. Over the last 40 years, a great deal of research was done to verify it’s safety and effectiveness and to quantify it’s mechanisms of efficacy.
CHI Institute approached Lu Yan Fang about the low quality and low effectiveness of these SY201 production models. Because there was a movement in China at that time declaring that government organizations should produce useful output, she persuaded the Research Institute of TV and Electro-Acoustics to produce high quality units. To assure quality, she acted as the production supervisor. Soon the Infratonic Chaos unit was put into production with far greater effectiveness than prior infrasound devices based on research by Richard Lee at CHI Institute. It was proven effective through:
After verifying greater effectiveness of more highly chaotic infrasonic signals, In Southern China, Su Cheng Wu MD conducted two studies:
Next, Ronald Riegel DVM conducted a series of four controlled studies showing:
Richard Lee at CHI Institute conducted two studies:<
While this research verified the original Chinese claims of safety and effectiveness, it was sponsored by CHI Institute. No study sponsored by a manufacturer or a distributor of any pharmaceutical or device can be trusted because of the possibility of financial bias.
This is the big shift. In about 2005 Lu Yan Fang and CHI Institute put the “Infrasound 8” into production. This was the first device to carry the name “Infrasound” Previous units carried the trade name “Infratonic” and were black, which appears to have been a barrier to independent medical research. The following research may have been inspired by the excellent published research of Su Cheng Wu on Asthma and academic performance described above. On the other hand, it may have been inspired by the breakthrough, peer reviewed research published in 2004 in the mainstream western medical journal, the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.
This was followed by several published studies using the Infrasound 8 identifying biochemical mechanisms of action for the effectiveness of action:
CHI Institute has put more than 100,000 Infrasound therapy devices into service over the past 40 years with no adverse effects. Now, as you can see, we have plenty of unbiased published research showing the effectiveness of CHI Infrasound devices.
