The Ultimate Tool for Whiplash Relief: Real Stories of Success
Whiplash is not a simple neck sprain though it may start out that way. It often becomes a complex syndrome because of cellular fear. The body fears sudden movement which might cause additional pain or aggravate the injury. Because of fear in the nervous system the nerves at the injury site produce acetylcholine which causes muscle spasm. This essentially immobilizes the neck to protect the spine from additional injury. Unfortunately, the muscle spasm reduces blood circulation impeding the healing process. The spasm also compresses spinal nerves causing pain and radiating numbness. This compounds the problem and often leads to chronic pain, stiffness, and numbness which can last for months or years.

Every year 1% of Americans suffer a whiplash injury severe enough to require a doctor visit. About 3 million Americans suffer from long term pain and debility! What happens if you apply the CHI Palm early?

From my experience this is largely nonsensical. I’m a huge fan of the Infratonic, which I’ve used for decades. Whiplash most usually happens because of hypermobile, ie overstretched cervical ligaments. In order to heal the ligament it needs to be shortened & strengthened. This is difficult to do, though supposedly prolotherapy & certain acupuncture techniques have proven successful. And I abandoned ice therapy decades ago in favour of infrared & far-infrared lights & korean heat infrared heating pads. Steam rooms & infrared saunas provide brilliant relief, but won’t heal the ligament because of it’s limited blood supply compared to muscles.
HI Jodi, Thank you for your comment. I agree with you that heat is generally more effective than ice after the first few hours. I also agree that many western doctors consider the mechanisms behind the CHI Palm to be “nonsensical”. Whiplash is often a complex injury. While we have had many reports of the CHI Palm and earlier models of Infratonics relieving pain, relaxing muscles, and accelerating recovery from whiplash, this doesn’t mean that any therapy is 100% effective. I believe most people will be very pleased with the results. Also, people are free to try it for a month and, if they are not pleased with the results, can return it for their money back. Most medical professionals who consider alternative therapies to be “nonsenical” do not offer such a guarantee.
