Why is my unit not holding a charge?

We often find that when an Infratonic 9 is not holding a charge, it is because the unit was not being properly charged. It is of the utmost importance to charge your unit correctly. When a unit is charged properly, it can last up to 300 charges (which can be up to 3 years’ worth of charging!).

Here are the steps to properly charge your unit:

  1. Wait to charge until the red “BATTERY” light in the center of the control panel flashes RED (many people charge their unit prior to this, which causes the battery life to deteriorate much faster than it’s designed to).
  2. Plug your unit’s charger into a nearby power outlet.
  3. Plug the charger cable into your unit (when charging the “BATTERY” light will turn ORANGE).

After about 1.5 hours, the “BATTERY” light will turn GREEN, indicating that the charge is complete. Please note: the longer you leave the unit charging AFTER the light has turned GREEN, the faster the battery life will deteriorate.

  1. I have two Infratonic 9’s. Initially the units lasted a few full nights and some hours during the day. They also charged well. Now, they do not seem to charge. When plugged in, starts out orange then red. When turn the cable, it’ll go back and forth in colors. When it is disconnected and turned on, won’t remain on. Red light turns back on. Have tried different outlets.
