Pre-Menopausal Mood Swings & Hot Flashes
Jeane's Pre-Menopausal Hot Flashes
From Dr. Jeane from Brazil…

I was diagnosed as premenopausal last year. I was experiencing hot flashes with perspiration roughly every 6 hours. It was exhausting. Daily rituals, like going to work have proven to be difficult. My forehead would start sweating as I was working with patients which made me uneasy. Then 10 minutes later, I would have chills. I was worried that patients might think I was sick. Even a doctor I work with would ask me if I was feeling ill. I’ve tried natural herbal pills to help minimize my symptoms, but none of them have worked. I wasn’t prepared for the intensity of symptoms I have experienced. Neither my mother nor my sisters have gone through the intensity of what I’m going through with menopause, and my medical school studies didn’t help either. I had been suffering with intense hot flashes for more than a year. I kept waiting for it to be over, but it was relentless. I was still going through the symptoms of hot flashes, chills, body aches, sleep issues, weight gain, and moodiness.

Then, a month ago, I tried the CHI Palm. I have gotten progressively increasing relief over the last month. I started out using it twice a day for 10 to 15 minutes, but one hour in the evening seems to work better for me. I set it for Acute and apply it over my heart center for 1 hour daily. I simply insert it into my bra with the handle pointing up so I can continue to cook dinner and engage in evening activities without interference. I have definitely noticed a big decrease in hot flashes. They’re not entirely gone. I would say they have decreased by 70%. Also, When I feel a hot flash coming on and I’m able to get to my Palm, I will grab it and use it. After 10 to 15 minutes, I notice relief as my hot flashes dissipate. I no longer throw the covers off me at night due to extreme hot flashes. I’ve had mood swings all my life and I feel that my mood swings are diminishing. I also had aching in my arms and Legs, but after four weeks of use, my muscle aches have also diminished. I had insomnia here and there, but it has gotten better.

I’m sleeping at least 8 hours now. That’s a blessing. And I have far more energy to enjoy my life!

Update: I went to see my gynecologist for my annual checkup.

I told her I was not experiencing any menopausal symptoms like hot flash or spontaneous perspiration. She was puzzled so I told her I was using the CHI Palm. She recommended I take hormones. I explained that I didn’t need them, but she continued to pressure me, saying my insurance would pay for them. I asked her to accept my statement that I don’t need them. Then there was an uncomfortable silence. When I got home, I told this to my partner. He suggested I stop using the CHI Palm to see if the menopausal symptoms were really gone. There was another uncomfortable silence. Finally I told him, “I can’t because I sleep better with my CHI Palm.”
