Apply the CHI Palm on Balance to pain, ache, or tightness in the lower back to relax spinal muscles and stretch your back gently. Then sweep from the abdomen along the pain and out the toes. Sciatica is generally caused by a pinched/bruised nerve and damaged nerves are slow to heal. Continue applying the CHI Palm to the point of pinching/bruising (likely lower back) for a few weeks after the sciatic pain disappears, until the lower back is relaxed and comfortable.
